About Sanshuumaru
Sanshuumaru is from a renowned kennel in Hokkaido Japan, which has more than 30 years of experience in breeding Japanese Akita Inu. The latest Meiyosho winner in the 144th Honbuten show, Moriizou is also bred by Sanshuumaru's breeder Tada Tatsumi. Sanshuumaru comes from one of the top bloodlines in Japan, among which from his sire Masyuumaru to his great-great-grandsire Ryouma have all achieved notable successes either in competing in shows themselves or that their offspring accomplished great outcomes in shows. Sanshuumaru's grandsire Taihei is also the sire of 'the gift Japanese Akita dog, Masaru' to Russian skater Zagitova. We studied the bloodline beforehand, talked to the current owners of Sanshuumaru's grandsire and great-great-grandsire to learn their health status, researched numerous offspring from this bloodline and finally decided Sanshuumaru is the right one. We are grateful to his breeder Tada San for entrusting us with this treasure.
Sanshuumaru is checked with Hip&Elbow, Thyroid, Amelogenesis Imperfecta and receives blood tests prior to the mating
